Secret CVC Eggs
Students chose 1 egg at a time which contained a CVC picture (consonant vowel consonant) and 3 letters. After ordering the letters to match the word in the picture they wrote each word on their recording paper.
Matching Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Eggs
Students were challenged to match tops (uppercase letters) and bottoms (lowercase letters) of plastic eggs. This activity was trickier than expected as the colours didn't match up!

Scientists in the School: Backyard Bugs
This week we had 2 scientists visit our class to teach us about bugs and insects. Students rotated through 5 centres where they acted as entomologists and investigated how bugs eat, see, hear and protect themselves. Thank you to the parents who were able to volunteer!
Grade 8 Learning Buddies
Mr. McMillan's Grade 8's came back for another surprise visit this week. They planned some really fun and exciting centres for the Kindies!
